Duties and Responsibilities

R&D

  • Assist with pilot plant product runs (cleaning equipment, preparing samples, labels, etc.)
  • Prepare samples per direction of R&D staff.
  • Inventory management of ingredient & product samples
  • New flavor screening and prototype development
  • Production & R&D shelf life testing studies
  • Technical document reviews
  • Technical project—will be created based on current needs and/or interests of the Intern.

Quality Assurance Experience

  • Internal and external audit participation
  • Environmental Swabbing
  • Calibration of equipment (thermometers, scales, etc.)
  • Galloway products, specifications and testing procedures
  • Assist with QA duties as needed
